Plan Overview
The Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) identifies and prioritizes transportation needs and opportunities and guides transportation investments through 2050. The CTP is updated every five years, in accordance with the Atlanta Regional Commission's requirements for transportation funding.
Key focus areas of this update include:

Assessment of existing transportation facilities

Identification of safety needs in alignment with the County's Vision Zero goal

Prioritization of projects based on safety, mobility, and community needs

Vision and implementation of a path and trail network

Traffic impact evaluation for existing conditions and future growth, including large developments

Updates to project lists and policy recommendations
The CTP is a countywide plan that builds on past plans and promotes cross-jurisdiction coordination between the cities and Fayette County.
